Shine Away Cleaning Services

About us

We built the company around the last twenty minutes.

Most cleaning is judged on what happens after the team leaves. That's where we put the effort — a written schedule, a supervisor who checks it, and a record you can hand to whoever asks.

How we started

Turnarounds first, everything else after.

Shine Away began doing end-of-tenancy work for letting agents — the jobs where a property has to be back to check-in condition by a fixed date, and a clerk decides whether it is.

That's an unforgiving way to learn a trade. A missed oven shelf or a limescale ring isn't a complaint, it's a failed inspection, a delayed re-let and a deposit dispute. So we stopped treating the final check as goodwill and made it a step in the job with a name on it.

Everything else we do now — deep cleans, office contracts, commercial sites, removals — runs on the same discipline. Written schedule, trained crew, supervisor sign-off. It's the reason agents keep sending us units, and the reason our office contracts tend to stay put.

Fully insured

Public liability and treatment risk cover on every job, on every site we attend.

Vetted, trained teams

Right-to-work checked, referenced and trained on our own handover standard before their first job.

Checked before handover

A supervisor walks the property against the schedule and signs it off. If something's missed, we come back.

Products that are safe indoors

Low-odour, non-toxic products as standard — safe around children, pets and food areas.

The people

Small enough to know who's on your job.

We're not a booking platform passing work to whoever's free. Our cleaners are our cleaners, and the supervisor who signs off your property is the person you can ask about it.

  • Right-to-work checked and referenced before a first shift.
  • Trained on our own handover schedule, not left to guess.
  • The same crew back on your contract wherever we can manage it.
  • A named contact who answers the phone during working hours.

What we hold ourselves to

Four things we won't move on.

One

The price is the price

Fixed quotes with the schedule attached. If the job turns out bigger than described, we tell you before we start, not after.

Two

Someone checks the work

A supervisor walks the property against the schedule. No job is finished because the clock says so.

Three

We come back

If something on our schedule was missed, we return and put it right. No argument, no invoice.

Four

You get a real person

One contact who knows your property or your building, reachable during working hours.
